Self-guided tour of the National Motor Museum
Self-guided tour of the National Motor Museum
Whether you’re booked into an education program or exploring the museum independently with your class, these resources will help you plan a meaningful visit to the National Motor Museum and engage your students with the exhibitions and objects that tell the story of Australia’s motoring history.
For practical information as you plan your excursion, our FAQs document answers many of the common questions teachers have about the museum.
Our Self-guided Learning Guide is designed to support teachers of students from all year levels, including resources for learning before, during and after their museum visit. We also provide a Pre-visit Presentation which contains information to help prepare students for their visit as well as pre-learning activities and prompts.
To get students moving around the museum and engage their observational skills, a series of museum trails are provided as a fun introduction to our collection.
