Research
Over the next two years, the History Trust is partnering with Sophia Booij, a PhD candidate at UniSA to investigate how we can make learning about South Australian history more fun.
Sophia is in her second year of her PhD project which centers around teaching Australian collections educators how to develop low-tech and low-cost games. This will be achieved through a step-by-step introductory guide, which focuses on strategies to translate the sorts of stories we are already telling as history collections into engaging games for learning – and potentially how we can tell interactive stories about the past in new ways.
